VIS 2024: HYBRID EVENT REGISTRATION
The 2024 IEEE Visualization and Visual Analytics Conference, running from October 13 - 18, is organized as a hybrid event. The conference will be held at the Hilton Tampa Downtown, in Tampa, Florida. The virtual component of the conference will provide access to the VIS community around the world who might not be able to travel with streaming in-person presenter-only sessions, virtual presenter-only sessions hosted on Zoom and downloadable proceedings.

FOR IN-PERSON AND VIRTUAL PRESENTERS OF MAIN CONFERENCE PAPERS, MAIN CONFERENCE SHORT PAPERS AND INVITED TVCG PAPERS
- One speaker for each Main Conference Paper, Main Conference Short Paper or Invited TVCG Paper MUST register under the On-site Speaker Conference Registration or the Virtual Speaker Conference Registration option or the corresponding Student Speaker options.
- Presenters can add multiple papers to their Speaker Conference Registration
- Presenters participating only at symposia, workshops, tutorials, or panels SHOULD NOT select the Speaker Conference Registration category. Instead, they need to use the On-site Conference Registration category
- Speaker Registration Includes: Admission to all conference sessions, symposia, tutorials and workshops, Banquet (Wednesday) and access to VIS 2024 online content.

- Virtual Conference Registration Includes: Access to online content including downloadable proceedings, in-person presenter-only streamed sessions including all plenary sessions, virtual presenter-only sessions hosted on Zoom, and workshops, panels, and other associated events equipped with Zoom-hybrid capabilities.
Diversity and Inclusivity Virtual Participants
- We will offer free virtual registration to individuals residing in countries where the per capita Gross National Income (GNI) is US$15,000 or less. If you qualify, select the Diversity Admission option. See list here.
- Individuals who need financial assistance but reside in a country not included on the Diversity Admission list, can select the Inclusivity Admission option for a free virtual registration.

Visa Letter Requests
For on-site conference participants who need a visa to enter the United States of America, a visa invitation letter will be automatically generated using your name, organization, and address when you register for the conference. Requests for letters containing additional information, such as date of birth or passport information (number, date of issue, expiration date, place of issue), may be e-mailed to: visa-letters@ieeevis.org. You must be fully registered for the conference before any letter can be issued.

Q: I am a poster presenter. Do I need to register using the Speaker Registration category?

No. Posters presenters should use the regular On-Site Participant Registration category.
Q: I will present a paper at a workshop/symposium/associated event. Do I need to register using the Speaker Registration category?

No. Workshop or symposium paper presenters and authors should use the regular On-Site Participant or Virtual Participant Registration categories.
Q: If I complete an Speaker Registration, do I also need to separately complete an On-Site or Virtual Participant Registration to attend the conference?

No. Speaker Registration includes the benefits of an on-site or virtual participation, and thus completing it will enable attendance in your preferred mode.
