Historical City Center

The city center of Vienna has been awarded the UNESCO world heritage site. Here you will find baroque palaces, gardens, monuments, and parks, that reflect important cultural and political eras in Europe.

St. Stephen's Cathedral (Stephansdom)

St. Stephen's Cathedral in the middle of the city center was consecrated in 1147. With its multicolored tiled roof and tall Romanesque towers, it has become one of the most famous images of the city.

Hofburg

For centuries, the Vienna Hofburg was the center of the Habsburg Empire. Today, the palace houses the seat of government as well as three museums that provide authentic insights into the everyday life of the imperial court.

Austrian National Library (Österreichische Nationalbibliothek)

Built in the 18th century as part of the former court library, the Austrian National Library houses an impressive state hall with an elaborately decorated dome and numerous frescoes. This baroque jewel houses more than 200,000 volumes.

Museum of Art History (Kunsthistorisches Museum)

The Vienna Museum of Art History is housed in a palace building that is identical to the Museum of Natural History, where the Welcome Reception will take place. The Museum of Art History displays the extensive art collection of the Habsburg Dynasty.

Albertina

The Albertina Art Museum is known worldwide for its collection of prints and drawings, which comprises around 50,000 drawings and 900,000 prints.

Belvedere

Belvedere Palace is the former residence of the Austrian Prince Eugene of Savoy. The Belvedere consist of two buildings, the Upper and Lower Belvedere, with a beautiful park in between. The Upper Belvedere is home to art collections such as those of Gustav Klimt.

Schönbrunn Palace

Schönbrunn Zoo

Schönbrunn Zoo, founded in 1752, is the oldest zoo in the world still in existence. It is located on the grounds of Schönbrunn Palace. It features an interesting architectural mix of original Baroque buildings and modern zoo architecture.

Prater

At the Prater's entrance, the famous Giant Ferris Wheel can be found, which was built in 1897. In addition, the Prater offers many attractions, such as merry-go-rounds, mirror and laughter cabinets, ghost and roller coasters or the small Liliputbahn.

Danube Tower (Donauturm)

The Danube Tower was built in 1964 for the Vienna Garden Show and now houses a café and restaurant with a 360-degree panoramic view of Vienna. The café and restaurant rotate on their own axis.
