VisInPractice

VisInPractice sessions are an opportunity for visualization practitioners and researchers to meet and share experiences, insights, and ideas in applying data visualization and visual analytics to real-world use cases. The goal of these sessions is to acknowledge successful transfers of visualization research into applications as well as current visualization practices in industry.

This year, VisInPractice sessions will be spead throughout the conference week and will include a series of practitioner-led talks as well as paper sessions with presentations that are highly relevant for practitioners.

The industry meetup features people from the Vis community which are now working in industry, making revenue with visualization. The meetup will be run under the title How to make money with visualization?
